Yes they have been in concept and R&D for about 18 months now....
I wish there was a betting line on if it will be unique/innovative/stylish/non- generic/ and fun as Hell...
When I first saw LBP shown at GDC a few years ago it was and still is the best pleasant surprise I have seen in gaming. It took me my total surprise, and to this day they still have me wanting more anything from Media Molecule...

I could not agree more than BG&E2 and or Rayman 3D platformer.... However Rayman and the team behind it have been and are really busy with the current 2D version. Plus the same team are the guys that will bring us BG&E2 someday.... That game has been on my most wanted list for years now...But someday, someday....
POP could be a new game announcement. BG&E 2 is not a new game, but has it been announced as of yet officially?

I'll be there buying DAY 1....Bubbles up to you...
MP and Horde mode against or with great players is fun, fun, fun...Love the series, always can count on them for some of the best game play out there...
More expansive maps, free for all again a new interesting element thrown in....Cannot wait for it...
I have never been in doubt about it's progress. They probably went into a revamp mode at least in some form, and went with new expanded ideas that they could go with on the PS4 if indeed it will be on the PS4,rather than the PS3 which is my guess.
Waiting and waiting for this and the next Oddworld inhabitants new game/IP, Beyond good and evil 2, The last of us, Media molecules new IP seems to go on forever, and is pretty tough...It seems my most wanted games are all the o...
Thanks Mac is OK.... Really impressive,I cannot wait to play this, you know what to expect before seeing this game knowing who is behind it, but even with this I am still even more impressed, this was better than I could have hoped.
Now I really want to see that full 25 minutes of in game footage... Waiting for games are a bit tough when they show such promise early on...
NO rant at all... +1 again for intellgent comment... I get you. We are on the same page...You should check out Dark souls when you get a chance.

I agree with you, bubbles to you... And would like to add...
That MP also is a factor in many SP games lengths these days. Some games do come with MP, and thus give players more for there buck...
I love long lasting games, dark souls demon souls being two prime examples these days... If the games stay fun, and fresh, and do not get repetitive, they evolve with new environments, characters, story, and do not do the old re-trace your steps trick over and over...
If so only as an added "OPTION" a seperate mode.
Really looking forward to this upcoming gem...
They should focus on robust content and a rich story line! Eye candy, innovative gameplay. I for one love 3D, and wish this game would have it to be quite frank.
But with or without it, I will be getting this up coming gem DAY 1...
Bubbles up to you...
Sphinx and the cursed mummy, POP 8 and BG&E are 3 games high on my list as games that were really under rated.....
The mummy levels in Sphinx were really special, well done gems. I have always wished a game based on the mummy would come out, not that the rest of the game was not good, as it was very good, but the mummy levels were some of the best you could play...
For me it is Oddworld's Strangers wrath....It has to be one of the most overlooked games of the last gens...
No sign of Sir Dan? What a pity...
Psygnosis...Along with the Bitmap Bros were gaming Gods for me back in the Amiga days in the early to mid 90's...
Talent moves along, spreads out. The type of games change, along with formats, these devs grow apart and styles, ideas, concepts change or evolve.
No the opposite. The next systems will be "Much" more powerful from the current ones, based on what they are saying. It means a "dramatic advance"...
I used to watch it too...
Nice to hear, cannot wait to see/hear all the details on the next consoles. Eye candy and game play will really benefit from the power, it's exciting. The waiting is a bit tough, I really want to see what's next...
These studios are on borrowed time if they don't put out a hit. They were not willing to bet more cash on another Wipeout game. But how much did they already lose on what already has been created? It seems they were close to finishing? Are they just cutting there losses?
Sony Cambridge are with GG now if I am correct? I have always hoped they would bring Sir Dan back...
Wait now...Who disagreed? LOL! I just posted news from Eurogamer. It's funny as soon as I post, I get a disagree on almost all my posts, no matter what I say, and I am as neutral a gamer as you can get, I play on everything...Who disagreed, common tell me why?

Sony Liverpool was working on two PlayStation 4 launch titles, Eurogamer has been told by a reliable source.
One of these was, unsurprisingly, a WipEout game described to us as "dramatically different" than previous games in the series. Another was a Splinter Cell-style game.
A source described the WipEout game as "far along". It had been in development for between 12 and 18 months.
A separate source told Eurogamer that th...
A proper Banjo, @ Conker would be so very very nice. Real pity, and loss for us true hardcore gamers new and old school...
There has been some gossip over hiring new devs for new AAA titles, what who knows, but perhaps a glimmer of hope still.
If not I wish Sony would get the hardcore IP's...Oh well...
Final Fantasy Series
Haze
New Ghost recon
And what a launch that would be...They have been digging into it for a good 18 months now, and by the end of next year that would be over 30 months of dev time... It could very well be a launch title for the PS4...I sure hope so...
